I'm not surprised

RIM ranked world's fastest-growing company

"Canada's Research In Motion, Ltd. is the world's fastest-growing company, far outpacing its chief smart-phone rival Apple Inc., according to U.S. business magazine Fortune. "
I'm an Apple person myself, and while I'd like to have an iPhone (I have an iPod Touch, thanks to SWMBO) the advantage to the RIM products (I also use a Blackberry Curve as my cell phone) is that the network services and telephone services of the competition in a lot of areas are far superior to the companies that Apple has contracted with.

In our area the iPhone is offered by a company called Rogers, who can't touch the main competitor for service, service area, and quality of service. It's a drag to have a good phone (like the iPhone)and not to be able to get service if you're two miles off the main highway on the way to another city. I think that's been part of the problem. Solve that and I'd have an iPhone pretty quickly...
