Gordon Waller of Peter & Gordon dies at 64
This may not mean much to anyone else, but 'World Without Love' was an absolutely beautiful song, and a song, along with 'Eve of Destruction', sung by Barry McGuire, that got me past listening to music and starting to actually play and sing (as good or bad as that may be!). It was a very influential song to me, and so ranks high on my nostalgia list.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Waller.
