I spent

about 5 hours yesterday getting our pond cleaned out and getting it filled for the new year. After it was filled I set up some yard lights, did a few other things and waited for SWMBO to come home. When we were leaving for our Parish Council meeting, we found that the pond was almost empty of water, though I had filled it around mid-afternoon. It has a leak. We just replaced the dugout liner two years ago, and it should last years. Now I have to rip the whole thing apart to put a new liner in. It'll take much longer than the first time, as the pond now supports the cat run on one side. With my luck I'll ruin that. Ah, well... Do you remember what I wrote yesterday about 'The Fido Touch'? I wasn't kidding...
