R.I.P. - Stanley Paraschuk

Last night we were at funeral prayers for this good, kind man. I read the intentions, SWMBO sang the Psalm. We both sang in the choir. Today is the funeral. SWMBO is singing the Psalm again and I am extraordinary minister of communion. We'll both sing in the choir again. We don't do this because it's required by our church involvement, but because we love Stan and his wife. Stan was a fine man with a terrific sense of humour. I visited him regularly while he was in palliative care at the hospital. He had many gifts and he'll be missed greatly.

Go swiftly to God, Stan, and rest in His peace...
