Well, with all due respect to the mennonites, I'm not at all sure that's what he was talking about! It's true he didn't take up arms against Rome but then I don't take up arms against the USA either - but not because I'm a pacifist:-)
I actually do have immense respect for the mennonites. But the current pacifist consensus in certain theological circles - I'm not talking about mennonites here - kind of alarms me. I'd like to see some debate.
