Is the Narnia Franchise Dead?

"Disney opts out of Dawn Treader, leaving the franchise, Walden Media with shaky futures."

I saw the first film, which I enjoyed quite a bit, still, I didn't find it as good as the British production. Perhaps that's just me. Apparently they did a more 'Hollywood' job on the second one, which I find somewhat worrisome as I wonder what they changed and how they changed it. I'll see it eventually. Now we may never see any more...
