I'm not sure

that I ever met the man...

In BC, Miller Time

In another life, in my distant seminary days, I was associated with the Basilians, with the hopeless dream of becoming a member of the order. Bubbles burst...

As they're primarily a teaching order (though they have their share of parishes as well) they attract a number of frighteningly intelligent men to the order. The Congregation of St. Basil has never been huge, numbering about 700 priests at the highest and now numbering about 300, so to have a couple of metropolitan bishops and to have had a Canadian Cardinal from their number means quite a bit. Congratulations, Archbishop Miller.
