A wonderful, magical book by a brilliant writer. The world is far dimmer for the loss of his talent. (My friend Sonje suggested I read the book many years ago. I've read it and re-read it. You should experience it yourself...)

She's wonderful as well. 'Wise Blood' just grabs me every time I read it.
