(You can bet that Scientology will have their own lawyers at the prosecution table like they always do, 'helping' the State prosecute the fellow. They'll also be pushing for the maximum sentence to set an example that you don't mess with Scientology...)

Just to clarify. Anonymous carried out a DDOS attack in January, quickly realized they were in the wrong (complaing about a cult suppressing free speech by taking down their website????) and moved on. Since than we have held well over a thousand peacefull street protests in more than a hundred countries.
The DDOS were illegal, and what goes around comes around. But honestly, I cannot help feel a bit frustated. Thee Feds spent nine months tracking down an immature kid. At the same time, the cult continues to commit very serious human rights abuses on a daily basis without so much as the feds eyebatting.
countries = cities. Truth should always avail :-)
