Good grief...

New rules on impaired driving violate accused's rights: defence lawyer
Now defense lawyers are planning to challenge the new law because it takes away the loophole that they used to get their clients off. A loophole. Their clients could be found over the legal maximum on multiple tests on different machines and still get off. If they had the right lawyer. The ones who advertise as specializing in drunk-driving charges. It's got nothing to do with them being guilty or innocent, it has to do with loopholes. I don't believe the lawyers are angry because anyone's rights are violated, I think they're angry because their meal ticket has ended. They don't want to go back to ambulance chasing, I guess...
