Will United Church 'throw in the towel'?

I know people who have said this about the United Church for years.

As they've already had one Moderator (at least) who has denied the divinity of Christ, one can see that they've strayed quite a ways from the original path. One would think that a belief in Christ as God and man would be central to calling yourself 'christian'...
