
This is all part of our current redefining of words. 'Abuse' no longer means anything, as people use it for everything up to and including someone giving them a nasty look or even NOT looking at you when they want them to. Even on just one occasion. What used to be called 'assault' for instance, is now reported in newspapers as 'abuse', depending on the setting. Now the word 'hatred' is being defined as the act of disagreeing with someone. The more its used, the worse it gets. (And from a business perspective, I guess all those 'no shirts, no shoes, no service' restaurants better start serving me when I'm barefoot!)
