I do hope this is accurate

Vatican official says pope does not want to abandon liturgical reform

I think he's an intellectual, an academic, who has been unfairly judged by the media. Over the years, during my university studies, I had the pleasure of reading some of his theology and he's not what people think he is. I also think that, due to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he's the right person for the current time. He's not Pope John Paul II, but I don't think he should be. The Church needs different people at different times.
