that they spend their time investigating price fixing in important things like chocolate rather than the gas companies, heating fuel, and other non-important areas of our society. I mean, really, how could they go so far as fix the price of candy?

The regulators and investigative bodies sure have their priorities straight up here in Canada. The conservative federal government worries about people who mess with their god, the dollar. (As long as it's not the people who elected them - really BIG business!)
