Saint Anthony of Padua

A Franciscan, a Doctor of the Church, a great speaker and wonder worker. One of his patronages is of lost things, which has led to some pretty unusual traditions on the part of Catholics who have lost things. Anyone who has heard the prayer that begins "Tony, Tony, turn around..." will understand. But that's people in general... pieties become superstitions become legends...
