Don't Judge a Church by its Incense
The fact is that Pope Benedict XVI isn't turning back the clock with the motu proprio for the liberation of the Old Mass, he's simply giving people an alternative. All the young, conservative Catholic bloggers who weren't even alive pre-Vatican II, let alone during the tumult just after Vatican II, will be sadly disappointed that he's not turning the clock back. I hope they'll be able to find a Tridentine Mass in their area.
