Many of the people I see promoting the Latin Mass on the 'net are young people who really have no experience of the pre-Vatican II Mass as it was before Vatican II. I have. Perhaps their zeal and piety will make the Latin Mass the experience of worship and the sacrament it was always supposed to be. Perhaps the old ladies won't go back to praying their rosary all through the liturgy because nothing was said aloud and nothing was done that they could see. Perhaps others won't go through the Mass reading prayers from the prayer book because there was little to follow. Perhaps the Latin Mass will be the true Latin Mass in its glory and majesty, the way it is supposed to be and the way it will hopefully be. Perhaps the young people will be less upset at participating at a Mass that they can understand and participate in fully as well, sometimes. There's room for everyone.
