To quote one of the readers, Coco, who commented on this article "A most excellent article." While some work to modernize the liturgy is beneficial and proper, I've always felt that the Bishops are condescending in their attitude that 'the people can't possibly understand it this way' and then dumb it down until all the power and richness is gone.
